I had a tournament last week and I backed off a little on the cardio to avoid burn out.  But I have been noticing that while I have been improving in my cardio workouts, sometimes I get super-gassed at jiu-jitsu. If there isn&amp;#39;t a tournament coming up and you want to try and gain some strength and maybe gain some weight too, then it could be good.
