Lovato Jr Goes The Distance in Bellator 189 Co Main Event

On his Pro MMA journey, American BJJ Black Belt, Rafael Lovato Jr had his next challenge laid out before him as he looked to step into the cage for the Co Main Event against the very game & dangerous Chris Honeycutt at Bellator 189 in Thackerville, Oklahoma. This was a moment in MMA history to not have missed out on as we saw a very strategic, seasoned Lovato Jr land immense strikes with dominant angles & positions combined with strong, dynamic takedowns. For the first time ever in his MMA career, the fight had gone the distance. Now in the hands of the judges, they had scored the fight to decide Rafael Lovato Jr was the victor by Unanimous Decision! This was quite the stage for Lovato Jr's showing in his development of becoming a well rounded martial artist & we very much look forward to his future endeavors into 2018!
